We are incredibly proud to say that we are the 1st jewellery label to work with tech company Provenance, incorporating their block chain technology into our website and brand. To put it simply, partnering with Provenance allows for complete transparency in our process, letting you know exactly how your jewellery is made. It is third party verified, meaning all the companies we work with also endorse our claims. From Fairmined, to our casting house, and the recycled packaging we use, each and every process is presented for you to see.

We don’t claim to be perfect, but we’re making every effort to do things the right way, inviting you in on our journey for complete transparency of our process.

It’s not enough anymore to claim you are an ‘ethical brand’- prove it.”

Francesca Kippax, Founder

If you’re interested to learn more about certain steps of our process, we submit evidence to back our claims - from invoices, to delivery notes and certificates. You can find our proof points on each product page, under the transparency tab.

It is important to have that fine balance between limiting environmental impact through the use of 100% recycled silver and also supporting the livelihoods of those who are reliant on the mining sector by making with Fairmined gold.

R E C Y C L E D  M E T A L S:

This material refers to a metal that has been refined back to its pure form and re-alloyed before being used again. In other words, it is 100% recycled and contains absolutely no newly mined material. It simply comes from a range of sources that include the jewellery industry, industrial residues, used electronic scrap, automotive materials and fuel cells.

F A I R M I N E D  G O L D:

Fairmined gold is fully traceable to source. Mining will continue to happen, so as a brand we want to support mining for good. Fairmined supports small scale artisanal miners and their communities; providing fair pay, gender equality, no child labour, safe working conditions and clean water supplies. Above all, it provides people with an income to support their families and live a better life. Mines within the scheme adhere to a strict set of rules to ensure minimum impact to the environment. You can learn more here.

We are a Fairmined licensed brand our licence number is: GB30036. We use Fairmined gold in our Fine Collection, view here. So far this year, from 1/01/2020-12/09/2020 we have used 48.59g. And 190.63g since joining as a Licensed brand in 2018.
